The Emergency Medicine department at the Faculty of Medicine successfully conducted a 2 day training workshop on Triage Approach to the Deteriorating patient and Basic life support from 15th to 16th December 2022 at Essential Skills Laboratory.

The facilitators of the training included; Emergency physicians; Drs. Andrew Flanery and Dr. Kenneth D. Bagonza.

Residents; Dr. Balu Mabiala, Dr. Ambrose Odwee, Dr. Jacob Busingye, Dr. Seere Bonny, Dr. Sarah Owornawe, Dr. Frank Sseyondo, and Dr. Ali Ahmed.

A big number of about 40 intern doctors and nurses from the departments of Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, and Obstetrics & Gynecology and also staff nurses from the Emergency department, MRRH turned up for the training.

The training ensured three sessions of clinical cover in the departments.

The training has equipped our medical doctors and Nurses with skills and expertise.
