The Faculty of Medicine through the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology has every year since 2008 partnered with MEDLEND Medical Missions to train Medical doctors and students in Fistula Surgery and other advanced Pelvic floor operations.
This collaboration has helped build capacity of surgeons and other health workers at Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital in Obstetrics Fistula Care on top of helping the disadvantaged Women who suffer from Urine leakage as a result of Obstetric Fistula in South Western Uganda.
The Fistula camp is on from 25th February to 6th March 2022 by the same team above.
