Prof. Verena Geissbuhler Senior Urogynecologist from St Claraspital, Basel Switzerland together with Faculty of Medicine through the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology has for the last four years partnered to train medical doctors and students in fistula surgery and other urogynecological surgeries. This collaboration has helped build capacity of our health workers in management of obstetric fistula.
Since 21st May to 28th May 2022 the fistula camp has been on at Mbarara University Teaching and Regional Referral Hospital
