Jane Kasozi Namagga,  MNSc, BNS, RN

Jane Kazozi is a lecturer in the Department of Nursing, Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST). She holds a BNSc and a MNSc from MUST.  In her role as lecturer she supervises undergraduate nurses in their research projects and in community placements. She is also a clinical preceptor and lecturer for the BNSc MUST students in the Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, and the operating theatres in Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital.  In addition, she is one of the committee members that formulated the Standard Operating Guidelines for operating theatres patient management.  She also sits on several committees both in the University and the Hospital: Quality Assurance Committee, MEPI/MESAU Committee, Curriculum Review Committee, and the Operating Theatres Management Committee.  Her research interests include hospitalized patient care and the importance of nurses charting or documenting the care they provide.
