Esther Beebwa


Ester Beebwa, MNSc, BNSc, RN

Beebwa Esther trained as registered nurse (her basic training). She worked in Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital before joining Mbarara University after pursuing her Bachelor and Masters in Nursing Science. Currently, Beebwa Esther is a lecturer in the Department of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine of Mbarara University of Science and Technology. She is involved in clinical, community and classroom activities. She supervises undergraduate students in research development and clinical settings. She has had a number of professional and academic trainings in and outside the country, including the following: Grant writing, Responsible Conduct in Research, and Protecting Human Research Participants. She has attended different research workshops in Uganda, Sweden and United Kingdom.

Esther is the Coordinator of International staff and students, and is the Coordinator of Clinical Nursing. She is also a facilitator in Micro-Research.  Ester is a member of the following committees: Timetable Committe, Quality Assurance committe, and Clinical Lab committee.
